2020 celebrates the 100th anniversary of Leach Pottery established by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in St Ives, England in 1920. The exhibition showcases pieces by Shoji Hamada and both current and old Standard Ware made at the Leach Pottery.

Satomi MiyanoSatomi Miyano

The very first exhibition by Satomi Miyano who studied as an apprentice of Tomoo Hamada at Hamada-gama Pottery in Mashiko, Japan from 2015-19 and at Shebbear Pottery with Clive Bowen and at Leach Pottery in St Ives during her six month stay in England after graduating from the Hamada-gama Pottery in spring 2019. The exhibition will showcase her works made at the these three potteries.


 
■The potter will be present on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.



 
Francoise Dufayard and Tim Andrews

Venue: Gallery St. Ives


The first joint exhibition by Françoise Dufayard from Renne, France and Tim Andrews from Devon, England. The both potters have been making ceramic arts for 40 years and having similar careers. They have shown together in a group exhibition but this will be their first joint exhibition. The both artists will be present at the exhibition.
