Reports from Mashiko - a year after the earthquake

Reports and exhibition by three potters whose studios and kilns were heavily damaged by the big earthquake on 11th March 2011.


Shinsuke Iwami / Tomoo Hamada / Ken Matsuzaki


The potters will be speaking about the damages from the earthquake and the reconstruction for the past year with showing slides.

19th : Iwami & Hamada
20th : Iwami & Matsuzaki
The lecture starts at 1:30 pm on the both dates.


*Part of sales from the exhibition will be donated to the fund for reconstructing the Mashiko Reference Museum established by Shoji Hamada.
